Na Foradada
In the heart of the Sierra de Tramuntana we find one of the most popular viewpoints of the island; Na Foradada. This emblematic place is located between Cala Deià and Caló de s’Estaca. Make sure to stop also at Deià, considered to be one of the most beautiful villages in Spain.
We recommend you to visit this marvellous scenery. The viewpoint is located in the Finca de Son Marroig, along the Sierra road between Deià and Valldemossa. Get ready to enjoy a sunset you will never forget.
Castillo de Bellver
Probably the most popular viewpoint of the island, this place glows with beauty. The unique circular fortress is located west of Palma, and its high enough for you to see the entire bay and most of the southern part of the island. If you just landed, then this is a good starting point for your trip.
Nus de sa Corbata (Sa Calobra)
Can a road be also an outstanding viewpoint? Surely it can! The MA-2141, with destination to Cala de Sa Calobra, is not just a normal highway. In the middle of dozens of hairpin bends the 360º curve known as the Nus de Sa Corbata surely is the most singular viewpoint of the island. A real paradise for drivers.
Mirador de Ses Ánimes (Torre del Verger)
Torre del Verger, also known as Mirador de Ses Ánimes, surely resides in the top part of the list of best viewpoints in Mallorca. Located between the cities of Banyalbufar and Estellencs, and close to a beautiful 16th century tower, this area is also known for its mysterious local legends, one of them which gives the name to the location. Locals believe that during winter nights wondering souls weave invisible nets to trap whoever dares to pass through their territory. Scary!
To fully enjoy the marvellous view, you have to climb the narrow stairs until the top of the tower. During summer the place is packed with tourists that crave to witness one of the best sunsets on the island.
Es Colomer
Es Colomer is located in the Formentor peninsula (northeast of the island) and it is easily reachable by travelling towards Pollença. Upon arrival you will see a small parking lot, followed by a small walking path that will bring you up to different viewpoints over 200 meters high. Don’t forget to bring your camera and enjoy the stunning view!
