Bodegas de Vi Rei
Llucmajor was one of the first populated areas of the island. This is proved by the numerous talayots scattered around the area. Also this was the first area where Romans planted vines. In 2014 in this areas Bodegas Vi Rei was founded with a clear objective; produce the best wine using the latest technologies on the field.
In 2012 a large part of the vineyard was planted using native varieties such as Manto Negro, Giró Ros, Premsal Blanc and Callet, together with more international varieties such as Sauvignon Blanc, Merlot, Chardonnay, Syrah and Cabernet Sauvignon. The results of this winery are quite unbelievable. A must if you are a wine lover.
Celler Tianna Negre
In the village of Binissalem, surrounded by stunning vineyards and lovely almond trees, there is Celler Tianna Negre. Right in the middle of the Raiguer region between the municipalities of Sencelles, Inca, Lloseta, Alaró and Consell, this building consists of 3 levels designed with the intention of minimizing the use of impulse pumps. It was back in 2007 when this winery opened its doors.
This winery’s success comes from the synergy between its architecture and its wines they managed to build throughout these years; the perfect balance between tradition, innovation and respect for the environment. Bodega Ramanyà
This family winery is located in the outskirts of Santa María del Camí and belongs to the denomination of origin of Binissalem. In Ramanyà they produce young and fresh red, rosé and white wines; stronger wines with different aging times in the typical wooden barrels; sweet, sparkling, etc. All produced with the essence and personality of the island.
Bodega Ramanyà offers a tour through the exteriors of the farm where you can find a crop representation of Mallorca. Inside the winery you will be teleported back in time to pre-industrial Mallorca through an ethnographic collection of more than 2,000 pieces. The perfect place if you are looking to breathe some real Balearic history.
